PGXP stops SH1 ingame cutscene from playing #240

In Silent Hill 1 there's an ingame cutscene at the church meant to play straight after an FMV, but with PGXP enabled (memory only) it seems to just freeze with the characters standing still and different pieces of geometry glitching out. Disabling PGXP prior to entering the church and re-enabling after the first camera movement lets it play out fine though.

I've uploaded a save-state for the PAL SH1 (SLES-01514) to http://www6.zippyshare.com/v/dscjfXXl/file.html, once loaded you should be right in front of the church, just press X to enter which will start the FMV cutscene (can be skipped by pressing start), after that the in-game cutscene will play.

(also you might need to let the game start the first intro FMV before loading that save-state, since audio doesn't seem to work otherwise, which could mean other things are affected too... I just wait till after the KCET logo, where the text from the FMV shows up before loading it)

Silent hill is glitching in general with pgxp. Although pcsx standalone is working well

Can reproduce the issue. Even with the recemt optimisations this bug can be reproduced.

Still an issue with latest cores.

Thanks for the context.

This is an issue with the widescreen hack, without any PGXP enhancement, in both software and hardware. Also occurs in the bridge control room shortly after when you try to pick up the health drink. No lockups/glitches with WS and PGXP off.

This issue occurs for me when I enable the widescreen hack independently from my PGXP setting.
