Only SNES has profiles, and this one isn't even used for libretro. But if it's for consistency, or if it's easier that way, sure, go ahead.

Looks good to me (well, as good as something bsnes-based can be; it's a pretty big mess, but no bigger than before). @twinaphex, do you have any objections?

I could have just made our target work and forget about ethos and the rest of higan, but it seemed like that was not the wisest course here, despite the fact that higan obviously is going to build with accuracy (which IMO is the best choice anyway.)

What I think I will do is revert the changes to objects other than sfc and apply the patsubst to sfc and non-sfc objects separately. If you'd rather hold off on merging this until I do that, I'm okay with that.
