The Dolphin project just announced a new versioning scheme with regular proper releases that are now considered the stable versions, rather than the ancient, long unsupported (nearly a decade of "use the nightly builds instead!") v5.0. The first (and current) stable release with this versioning scheme is v2407. https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2024/07/02/dolphin-releases-announcement/
I hope that this will trigger the libretro Dolphin port to rebase to modern Dolphin code.
Also trying to figure out the reasoning of having this core so left behind in terms of updates. Anyone know if there is anything to read and understand? Or is this simply a matter of help needed to compile or rebase dolphin official source code?
Considering all the possibilities of Retroarch, it's a shame to be at the current state. Maybe we could spare some time and help this move forward.
Yes... Please update this core !
please god i beg you update to like a version that has more support like miis and wii and stuff like that also it is based on 5.0 from 2015
