Keyboard issues and crashing #1

Open GPDP2 opened 11 years ago

GPDP2 commented 11 years ago

I've been testing this core, and I've noticed several keys do not seem to register at all on the DOSBox command prompt, namely keys like the period and slashes, which makes things like navigating directories very hard.

I have also noticed any game or application that switches to either 320x240 or 640x480 makes the core crash completely. 320x200 and 640x350 appear fine for some reason. Further testing might be necessary, however.

Yeah just found this happens can't type colons or semicolons. Also selecting dosbox from RGUI loads dos right away which shouldn't happen

Periods, slashes, semicolons, and colons are working fine for me.

The unrecognized keys issue still occurs, e.g. with the [ and ] keys.

OS: Linux Mint 18.3 Front End: Retroarch 1.7.0-r201801302154-80bdcd8-73~ubuntu16.04.1 DOSBox core version: 1:0.74-r201710240346-9590645-5~ubuntu16.04.1

Sometimes, some of the keys work for 5-10 seconds before they stop working. While they work, they are affected by bug #32 (Keyboard Stuck Keys).

The keys on the keypad work in the DOS shell, but not in games.
