Hello, After having succesfully mapped light gun controls to my wiimote (except for a very few Naomi shooting games for now) , when i exit the game and want to play it again (quit to émulation Station, then relaunch game) , i have to remap gun inputs in retroarch global settings. Here's how i do (with a wiimote +mayflash dolphin bar in mode 2)
Let s take confidential mission game as an example
Open it from émulation Station
Once launched, enter retroarch Quick menu
Go in options
Enable show light gun settings
Restart game from retroarch (don't quit)
Go back in Quick menu/options
In light gun settings, you Can now enable crosshair etc.
Once done, go in options top list and create confmiss option file
Go in retroarch global settings/controls/input 1 binds
Set device type to light gun
Map my wiimote like this :
Gun trigger : B
Gun reload : A
Aux a : Wiimote left arrow
Aux b : UP arrow.
Aux c : right arrow
Start : +
Select : home
Go back in retroarch global settings and save current config
Restart game from Quick menu (don't quit)
Great, it Works fine!
Now really quit the game (with hotkey+start on my side)
Relaunch it,
Light gun inputs are not recalled. Argh. You Can only see crosshair moving, according to wiimote moves.
Maybe i miss something hère
I think this issue has been already mentioned on various forums but doesnt seem to bé logged hère.
Thanks in advance for your feedback,
All thé best for 2021.
Cheers,
Niamreg73
Configuration : Batocera 5.27 Retroarch 1.9.0 Latest lr-flycast core (according to retroarch online updater)
