the same problem exists with the ppsspp core iirc. I have an override there too.

if you have audio mixer/menu sounds enabled pressing your hotkey to enter/exit the quick menu a few times will cause a complete crash of RA.

use audio_enable_menu = "false" in an override and problem solved.
