I suspect a graphics driver issue. Do you have the latest drivers installed? Which GPU? Open GL and DXD11 should work fine on windows 7.
Some logs would also help.
Hi, flyinghead! Thanks a lot for replying.
It's an ATI Radeon HD4670 running CRT Emudriver 1.2b (CRT tools 2.0) under Windows 7.
The issue only happens with the Retroarch core, as the standalone version works with D3D or OpenGL normally.
Anyway, I have a spare R9 380X around and I'll be doing tests to see if the issues disappear.
Do you think win10 has advatages over 7 when it comes to input lag, considering fullscreen mode?
I'm really reluctant to give up win7 for these games, as I don't like the idea of a compulsory DWM all the time smoothing things at the expense of latency.
Congratulations for the awesome work! Keep the dream alive...

Do you have post PVR2 filtering on in the Video options? I had this issue in the past and somehow that got enabled and turning off restored the video.
Hi there. My machine runs Windows 7 + CRTemudriver and Retroarch, and everything works perfectly, except for the Flycast core. All NAOMI roms it loads (plus some Atomiswave roms, such as Kof Neo Wave and XI) keep playing audio in the background, but blindly, with no video. After that, I can't access the RA menu. I'm running Flycast through OpenGL (gl), since it crashes immediately with D3D11. Later, I tested the same core on a Win 10 machine and everything worked with D3D11 alone. What could be happening??? Windows 7 is still great, simply because it has less latency than win 10.
