Flycast is a multiplatform Sega Dreamcast emulator. NOTE: No longer actively developed, use upstream repo for libretro from now on - https://github.com/flyinghead/flycast
The game plays pretty well. The issue is that when it gets to some of the more complicated cut scenes it sometimes crashes to the nVidia Shield's home screen. I've been able to get past all of those crashes by dumping the scaling for the cut scenes and then increasing it after the cutscene. But this cut scene crashes at 1 percent scaling.
What should I do? Honestly, I've put about 30 hours into the game and would like to just get to the other side of this cut scene where I'm sure it will work fine again.
If someone would be willing... I'd like to give my save state and VMU to someone to just walk the save PAST that one area and then hand it back to me.
That doesn't solve "the" problem but it would solve "my" problem. :)
Let me know if you want anything I'm not providing for diagnostics etc. It was very disappointing to make it that far and no farther in the game.
I tried playing with the interpreter, messing with scaling... I moved a lot of bits here and there.
I checked the threads and it didn't look like there was a fix for SoA crashes though I did see other threads "talking" about it.
