Fceumm and Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic Panic sound fx not accurate #331

Updated to the latest Fceumm version core in Retroarch 1.84, but Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic sounds effects like picking up items and open/closing door sounds for example are not accurate. I tried another emulator core like Nestopia in Retroarch and sounded like the it should so it's not the ROM.

clarify that you are using FDS since the apu, specifically the modulator unit is inaccurate that can noticeable affect some games requiring it : if this is one of those fds conversions, then that clearly will not have the fds audio channel.

Hi there,

Thanks for responding! Yes, I am using .FDS rom file if that's what you are asking? Not sure how to tell if my rom file was originally a conversion? I have two versions of the ROM, one English translated and the other is in original Japanese doing the same. Both sounds fine if I use other emulators. If you have something I can try to troubleshoot with Fceumm, please instruct.

the fds apu section has to be fixed/updated. no workaround that can be done to remedy it.
