PPSSPP Retroarch core used to open/unpack .ZIP onloading #1653

All my backups are in .zip and i used to be able to load them in retroarch ppsspp core, they would unpack per game basis, and after playing the unpacked file was removed. now i cant even load any .zip files was something changed?

i can load iso ect. and using the standalone ppsspp emulator i can add the rom directory with the zips and they will unpack on opening, but if i launch the standalone though steam with the correct command lines to attach individual games it will boot up the standalone emulator but wont unpack the zip. "failed to extract content from compressed file" zips will only unpack within the emulator game list adding a directory, im using Steam Rom Manager to boot into retroarch from steam shortcuts. everything used to work fine a few months ago.

Ive been able to use 1.8.5 and it will load/unpack the zips but in 1.10.3 i get the "failed to extract content from compressed file" all my core/system/info folders are the same on both retroarch directories. hmmmm anyone have any insight? something break in between retroarch updates?
