WHDLoad Filenames with spaces #497

Hi, when loading WHDLoad files and the requester comes up, it won't load filenames that have spaces in.

These are Aladin's WHDLoad files.

I have never seen a WHDLoad install that has such files.

A guy called 'Aladin' from EAB created about 2000 installs for (mostly PD) games that don't have official installs. There are a lot that give the option of which Workbench to use like this one - https://www.amigafrance.com/download/Aladin/WHDLG/BazzaRunt-WHDL.lha

He's even made one for Super Skidmarks that doesn't need 26mb before it will even run ! Not sure what the official WHDLoad creator was doing with that one.

These are good because they load almost instantly versus the floppy version. Although some may not work because they are Generic.

I also noticed the WHDLoad program has had a version upgrade, not sure what advantages that has in the long run.

Edit saves/WHDLoad/S/WBSelect and add quotes to row 10 $WBRUN#?, like so:

List "$WBRUN#?" QUICK NOHEAD DIRS LFORMAT %F%M TO ENV:WBDIR

Thanks. Will this become a permanent change in PUAE ? Or I'll have to remember to change it if I load a file from a different location.

Yes yes, I'll update it when I get around to it and after it is confirmed that it won't cause new troubles.

Okeydokey now the fix will be applied in new installations and after deleting current WHDLoad directory/HDF.

How's it going with the 4.5.0 update, or did you give up on that idea ? It was only HDF's that didn't work ?

HDFs and everything else that works now seems to work except SCSI CD..

Keep up the great work ! I massively prefer your PUAE core over Amiberry (which is what that A500 Mini is using). The guy that put the work into Amiberry didn't even know it was being used ! That's Github I suppose. They think it's a free way to make money off other people's work.

Could you also update WHDload as well (18.7) ? It's still on 18.5. (Just to be future proof, i've only seen Workbench 1.3/3.1 that need it but maybe more).
