Standalone version works though.

Please share what OS, RetroArch version and core version you are using.

Windows 7 64-bit. Both stable and nightly versions of retroarch don't save. Weird though because it saves on Pokemon FireRed, but in that specific game it doesn't.

@torben656 Can you try the latest mgba builds to see if its better?
