Black screen on Lost Eden after Title screen #162

The game shows title screen, and after black screen.

I'm using last Opera core on Retroarch.

I can confirm this issue. Enabling debug info spams the log with Eden v.1.00 repeatedly, making me think it's essentially bootlooping. I did finally manage to get it to boot and grabbed a state (attached below, though I'm uncertain it'll be of any use since it's past the issue point) with the FZ-10 No RSA bios and OperaOS SWI HLE enabled, though I'm uncertain if either was actually relevant to making that happen. It seemed like it took around 15-20 restarts with up to a minute or so wait each to get it to boot. In attempting to find a reliable solution via core options, I saw it boot a total of two times, neither reliably reproducible.

Lost Eden (USA).zip

Tested on x86_64 Linux with libretro/RetroArch@94beed5a466874ab0e0c7f99b3702da04c33899c and Opera 7e385d475aae26922c9fb4a37e8a7ffdd1d3ee92. Game was Redump verified and tested in both chd and bin+cue formats.

EDIT: Looks like I may have been a bit hasty. That is, it seems like it may reliably start if you wait (or fast forward) for long enough. I timed it at 95 seconds from boot to the intro FMV loading (90 seconds of which was just a black screen).

Opera is a fork of 4DO and the 4DO compatibility listing mentions: "Takes a long time to boot up."

I see from the debug log it prints out "Eden v.1.00" over and over till it starts. Would have to dig in further to see what it's trying to do. Unfortunately, I've just not had the time to focus on Opera lately but it is good to have the ticket here for future reference.
