I was just looking around for a solution to this issue. The game is borderline unplayable not knowing exactly where some of the walls begin and end in high combat scenarios. On Retroarch 1.18.0
A 3DO emulator called Project Phoenix runs the game perfectly, sadly Phoenix has a pretty crappy interface, no command-line capabilities, is nearly impossible to use with a front-end, and hasn't been updated in years.
I've seen the comments. I'll investigate when I have the cycles.

I'm playing the game for Retro Achievements as well so I doubt that would be a solution. I can just play some other things while I wait on a dev update, but thanks for the suggestion nonetheless.
Alone in the Dark 2 game doesn't apply proper stencil layers to 3D objects. This can clearly be visible on every in-game screen.
