Intro video all wonky in Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon #628

When I run "Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon" the intro music video ("ganbare so ganbare") stutters hard and the video desyncs from the audio.

Is this a bug or is my PC just not powerful enough to run this game?

I'm using the git version as of commit d59e033, on Linux, all settings default except angrylion and cxd4 on.

Specs: Ryzen 5 3600 RX 580

With NTSC version, some pauses happen on console as well. Some performance issues occur with angrylion during intro with less than 8 threads. Desyncs can be fixed with VI Refresh set to 2200.

Windows 10 Intel 9820X OC’ed 4.8Ghz
