Right, but at least some games work now, before that the dynarec was completely broken and disabled at compile time. If you want to resolve this quickly I'd prefer to make the dynarec off by default for switch to fully compile-time disabling it again.

When i disable dynarec the game performance suffers a lot.
Im sorry, im not that technical, but i can say that all i personally experience is this screen, and thats what i actually see during the crash:
As for the logs... Ofcourse, whatever is needed. Where can i find them, where are they located?
I don't know how it's done on the switch, but probably enabled in menus as described here and then maybe it will appear in retroarch/logs/ on SD(?). Maybe @DerinQyu can help.

Hello @notaz, I tested crash team racing on commt 9775fc3 with dynamic recompiler=true and retroarch crashes if you try to load the game (same as this issue), here is the log:

Hello, I tested commit 0739265 on a fresh install, and the games reported above boot (no more crashing) and seem to work fine no issues but It needs more testing (invest more hours playing and test more games) to be sure. All my games are .chd files.

Looks similar to what DerinQyu posted before so no need for more. The fixes are in the latest nightly so you can try if it works for you too.

Hello @notaz I did more testing and on latest nightly there is a crash on megaman legends which kick you to switch home menu or gets stuck on a infinite loading screen. And megaman legends 2 hangs after cutscenes or gets stuck on a black screen between area transitions and sometimes retroarch crashes.

@DerinQyu Megaman Legends works fine for me.
Try to delete retroarch folder and everything retroarch related, download Latest Nightly, go in online updater when you install it and run it and update everything in online updater. set everything to default and dont forget to put bios file in retroarch/cores/system
try to use psp's psx bios, not the original bios for actual psx. (google it).

Description
I'm using Nintendo Switch version of 'RetroArch v1.10.3' the stable one (i tried nightly also), and the core 'PCSX-ReARMed (r23l 9775fc3)' that i updated to the latest at the time of writing this.
The problem i'm facing is crashing of entire RetroArch, back to Nintendo Switch's home menu, when using said core loaded with some (not all) games (such as Tomb Raider 3, Pepsi-Man, R-Type DELTA and others... so far 40% of games i have approximately) with Dynamic Recompiler in core settings turned to ON. When Dynamic Recompiler is turned OFF all games work normally, with no issues or crashing, except, obviously, being slow and having frame drops and slow performance compared to Dynamic Recompiler turned to ON.
So basically When Dynamic Recompiler is turned to ON the RetroArch crashes completly with some games while with some it doesnt. (If the list of crashing games is needed, i can test more and provide a list)
Steps to reproduce
So to reproduce you need a Hacked Nintendo Switch console. I used this guide: https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/ RetroArch is downloaded here: https://buildbot.libretro.com/stable/1.10.3/nintendo/switch/libnx/ All files from downloaded .zip are placed on SD root. After that i launch RetroArch by going into HomeBrew Menu (hbmenu). HB Menu is launched in Full RAM mode by holding 'R' while launching any title from Switch home menu. Once in HB Menu i launch RetroArch. All settings are default, and Bios files (i verified hashes of all bios files in system folder inside cores folder (SDroot:/retroarch/cores/system/))
In short, Dynamic Recompiler is set to ON by default, so just installing RetroArch and loading a said PSX game (example: Tomb Raider 3) will crash the RetroArch and show the message: "The software was closed because an error occurred." and by clicking 'ok' you will be kicked in Switch Home Menu and Exit out of Home Brew Menu completely.
When did the behavior start?
For me, it never worked.
