I've taken the work done in #110, added the interface changes suggested by @skaji and amended the tests.
To pick up on the original discussion as to what makes up an HTML name attribute:

attribute:name
can be CDATA, which means single whitespaces and any characters. Numbers as names are allowed. See https://www.w3.org/TR/html401/interact/forms.html#adef-name-INPUTid
