I find there are some good libraries to handle many things but I cannot find the pre-compiled package for any platform.

There are none provided by the project, it is too time consuming to support binaries for all platforms.

With these instructions (https://github.com/libyal/libvmdk/wiki/Building) you should be able to build it yourself.
