No interaction with lichess ipad app on ipad pro when using apple magic keyboard touchpad #1517

Describe the bug I'm using the apple magic keyboard with the 4th gen ipad pro 12.9 inch and the touchpad on the magic keyboard doesn't interact with the apps interface. The cursor is visible but when trying to click on menus and objects in the app there is no response.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open lichess app on ipad pro
  2. Using the magic keyboard touchpad, try to click on menus
  3. You'll see there's no response from the lichess app.

Expected behavior The expected behaviour should be the same as that of normal touch screen interaction.

The problem is that I don't have a magic keyboard. I tagged this as help wanted for anyone who own a magic keyboard and is willing to tackle it.

The magic trackpad doesn't work either. I've seen other bugs saying external mice are also problematic, though I don't have direct experience of that.

@veloce there’s actually no need to reproduce this on a Magic Keyboard touchpad. Any external USB mouse can be used to reproduce the problem. None of the UI elements work. They can be clicked and the button animates, but button actually doesn’t do anything. External keyboards like the Magic Keyboard do work fine, however.
