cannot create a custom game #1714

phone hardware: LG K20+

phone operating system version: Android 7.0

version of lichess mobile beta: not beta. i'm using the most recent version on Google play as of today, June 6. i cannot find a version # in my release version from Google Play.

this same bug happens on both of my phones (same kind of phone).

steps to reproduce: Go to create a custom game (like chess960 ;P ), when on 'Quick Pairing' tab, click on the (black) 'Create a Game' button. After clicking this (black) 'Create a Game' button, the button animates as expected, so i can see that the click event works for the (black) button.

description of the observed behavior: After clicking the previously mentioned button, the screen does not change. it acts like the next screen is halted from being displayed. it does not switch to a screen with the 'Quick Pairing' and 'Custom' tabs showing UNTIL i click on something from the nav menu, like the 'Puzzles' menu option, for example.

description of the expected behavior: I expect that the 'Create a Game' screen with the 'Custom' tab should show up almost immediately after i click the previously mentioned (black) 'Create a Game' button.

this bug prevents me from playing any custom chess game, because even after i click on 'Puzzles' in the nav menu in order to get the screen to show up with the 'Custom' tab showing, the next (blue) 'Create a Game' acts the same way as the previous (black) 'Create a Game' button.

this bug started about a week ago (near beginning of June, 2021), and it is consistent for me & always happens after its first occurrence. so it is not a random occurrence where sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. i'm happy to record a video if that wud help & i have a destination where i can send such. or just a video call.

Thanks for the report, and sorry you're encountering this bug. Do either of you mind please attaching a short screen recording demonstrating the issue?
