I hope this commit edfc1d4b will fix it. I plan to release a new version soon, you'll tell me!
Ima try to setup https/wss on lichess soon, Tony offered to help.
ha! We had a discussion about it last friday, I'm glad he moved to action :)
But for this issue with the no internet connection message, it looks more like a cordova issue to me (ie. the check to see if a network connection is faulty, then lichobile believes there is no network and the whole app is in offline mode)
ah ok
@MrJakmer can you go to this page http://bit.ly/1DUkZqx and download the last beta to check if your problem persist? Thanks :)
I downloaded the latest beta (v2.3.0-beta1) and my problem is solved. Thank you. When do you plan to release the new version?
Good news :)
I plan to release it this week.
I seem to be having exactly the same problem. Works over two WLAN connections I tried, but not over mobile data. I just installed the mobile app for the first time so I don't know if this is a regression or the bug was never completely fixed.

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to use the Lichess App and everything works if I connect to the internet via WLAN. But if I try to connect with my mobile data connection, it doesn't work. I have checked whether I'm online with two different SIM-cards. Like you can see on the attached screenshot, the App says “No internet connection. You can still play offline from the menu.” I'm still able to play online with mobile data connection over the website.
