Local LAN Support #2355

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. There are times when I want to play with my friend and the internet connection is not so good. There's an over-the-board feature but I think that it is more convenient to play on two separate devices than playing on the same single screen.

Describe the solution you'd like We could add support for local LAN. The local LAN connection could be through Bluetooth or the same Wi-Fi.

Describe alternatives you've considered NONE

Additional context There's a similar feature in a multiplayer game called Mini Militia. Players can join a lobby created by the user using a hotspot. It works seamlessly. There's also a chess app that has very basic features but has support for Local LAN. App Link

That would be very cool. The best solution would be to play via Bluetooth. For example, I'm from Ukraine, and Russia is bombing our infrastructure. When there is no electricity, it is convenient to play chess with someone using our smartphones.

I came here to ask for this feature. I hope that the developers will find time to develop this feature
