Interface hangs when dragging a piece #2424

What happened?

Sometimes when I drag a pieces to move it, the app stops responding

How can we reproduce the bug?

  1. Move a piece by dragging it

Piece is highlighted, but does not move.

Further attempts to play the intended move fail. But a different piece can be moved.

Expected behavior

The selected piece moves to its target square

In this example, I try to play hxg4 and I cannot. The pawn is highlighted as if it has started moving, but nothing happens. I end up playing Rhf1 instead because my chosen move wouldn't work.

Been flagging this for a long time, anyone playing on mobile will notice. I'm afraid there is no development on the app for a while. This and the clock being a complete randomizer is a problem. Pluss the bots/cheats are out of control unfortunately.

I guess no-one gets payed to make it work well. Hoping for a miracle :)
