Clocks and finished game results on Broadcast multiboard #12106

The Broadcast multi-board tab is often used for display purposes on twitch/youtube streams or in static displays live at the tournament venue. For this purpose it would be very useful to see the result of finished games and the clock times.

More broadcast wishlist stuff: https://discord.com/channels/280713822073913354/1055610370309509210

Results on the multi-board would be the priority, but have a look at that post and see if it brings to mind any other low hanging fruit which can be added here. Sometimes multiple changes to a specific area can be done faster in one go.

Is that the right link?

Off the top of my head:

  1. embedding youtube/twitch streams into a broadcast. (regular studies too for that matter)
  2. The standings are a little hard to find, you have to scroll past the schedule to discover them. We didn't have them (automated) for a long time which makes things worse.
  3. Maybe more automated solutions for standings input? Anything that isn't having volunteers input standings everyday after every round, or at least makes it easier
  4. Computer eval gauge on the chapter list and/or multiboard. Presumably this would come from cached eval and if we don't have it for smaller events its fine.

No it is not. Should have been: https://lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/broadcasting-some-ideas

Some good stuff there.

for #2 Team identifiers are usually not useful, but sometimes extremely useful, in Olympiads and team events. The pgns for the last Olympiad don't include team info, although the pgns are arranged according to teams with a consistent number of players/games per team. Some level of manual input would be necessary I guess.

For #3 I guess they want multiboard customization, which is not super useful imo, but I'm sure would get used as I mentioned in the first post. Maybe I underestimate how popular multiboard is, it gets mentioned a lot in feature requests.
