I'm also having the same issue on MacOS Monterey version 12.1, Google Chrome Version 112.0.5615.137.
I have this issue for most games when I go to the analysis board, turn on the engine, and jump to a random move in the middle of the game. A refresh almost always fixes it, but this becomes annoying when I'm solving puzzles (I have the same issue there as well). It will eventually load the evaluation, but only after a couple minutes or so.
Here's a screenshot of the console output, doesn't seem to be anything there

I was testing Lichess on my desktop browser, Brave, but for mobile resolutions: 400px. It worked just fine. Then I switched to the mobile emulator in Brave. Same resolution, only now when I start the engine I often get "SF: Failed to allocate 1024MB for transposition table" and then nothing will fix it except a refresh. I set the memory to minimum, to no avail. If it gets to this state it never recovers. But it ONLY happens in the emulator. (set to Responsive 400px). Perhaps this can give you a clue about the people complaining about the engine getting stuck on mobile.
The same bug, browser tab getting stuck while loading stockfish engine. Several months ago it worked fine, but now It doesn’t. It happens on IPad, Firefox, Chrome.
