I think it's not necessary.
This is interesting to me - could I attempt to tackle this @kraktus? I am a new contributor and am looking for a first issue that is somewhat simple.
If this is low value, then happy to consider other issues!
Hey @apstone, thanks for the interest! I wouldn't consider this low-key, quite the opposite 😄 It's technically easy but as it's touching one of core page visually it must integrate well!
Feel free to tackle this one (or any other), we also have a list of good first issues https://github.com/lichess-org/lila/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+label%3A%22good+first+issue%22
After a user (even a fairly strong one, with a 1900 Blitz rating) was confused about the Threefold repetition in their game, this improvement idea tries to help with the confusion of users.
The icon could also be displayed in the game notation box after the game has finished, but it might be too cluttered.
To make this work, it would also be necessary to add any missing or insufficiently explained "non-standard" (someone would have to define this, it could simply mean any game that doesn't end in checkmate, or be a bit more sophisticated) game results to the FAQ (or possibly another place like a study).
Another, less cluttered but also less visible alternative would be to just make the "non-standard" game result clickable and redirect to the FAQ without any icons at all.
A few more threads from users seemingly confused about their game result:

Sorry if this has been suggested here before, but I've searched thoroughly and couldn't find anything. And it's clear that this won't completely "solve" the confusion of users, as some already know what for example a Threefold repetition is, but for some reason just don't see it in their game. However, this should still help with the confusion of other users.
