Move notation letters can be translated into every language #13552

The lichess in the "Move notation" settings has the option of showing the chess piece symbols or the letters but in some languages we use letters other than English (K, Q, R, B, N). for example, in Portuguese we use "R, D, T, B, C" (following the English structure)

my suggestion is to allow the community to translate the notes as well

iirc it was intentionally left out so players could more easily learn a common notation, but that was a few years back.

Well, maybe it's complicated But the point is that, for example, there are places that teach but teach students local notes and not international ones. And for students who are still learning, it would be interesting to have a view of those who learned in the notes

In the case here in Portuguese (for example) the structure of the annotations is the same as in the international version, the only thing that changes is the name of the piece.

This is only changed because the names of the pieces are different from English

King is Rei Queen is Dama Rook is Torre Bishop is Bispo Knight is Cavalo

I know it's a bit off topic, but if I happen to use the translator for something, I have to use a translator for something and there is a chess annotation there it will be translated and correctly

I know I'm off topic: You can use the chess piece symbol: https://lichess.org/account/preferences/display#pgnPieceNotation

In this case, only notes in English are available In other languages they are different As I wrote above
