After Re3, why make exercise play Qxe3? Sure, it's the "top move", but it loses the queen and the exercise ends with a "blockade", but that's artificial to some extent. White can play fxe3, and After Qxf3, play Qc2, and then, finding the mating moves for black is hard. And if one does not see how to mate from there, then Re3 is pointless, because it loses the rook.
In other words, this exercise does not seem like a great example for blockading motif.
