The sole purpose of this github issues is to make lichess better. As I've said before, don't worry about the players that much. Look at the super gms playing bullet on chess.com, I don't see them complaining about cursors, I only heard them saying lichess is faster. I mean I don't want to be rude here, but what do the players even know? I mean really, let's be honest here. People were used to sleep in a cave and though that shit was the best. What do they even know, man? :))
Ornicar, all I'm trying to say here is take us out of the cave, show us that we can have clean water and electricity. No more prima noctes man!
Just make lichess beautiful, one step at a time. What, 5 dudes can't handle an update so let's revert everything back? So what? You must understand ma G that you chose to play the long game here by not selling lichess and by providing your work free for all. Basically you spoiled us. You threw gold at us and you didn't want shit in return. So make lichess the way you want it. Own it. Have it work the way you feel is best for you firstly, because none other than you spent that much time thinking about online chess experience. None. Not one single soul out there.
Make it pretty. Make it shiny. The shit you do now, is for the long run. What will lichess look like in 1 year, what about 5 years?I'm telling you and I'm a businessman myself, you will need to upset a few spirits, but at the end of the day, after the pichforks are lowered and torches died out, lichess comes out breathing and it is a better product, a prettier product. And pretty is important as hell. Pretty is picked firstly. And at the end of the day, after all the tech guys and mumbojumbo engineers list the specs, pretty is the only thing that matters to the consumer.
As I see it now is that you spend too much time tweaking under the hood that you forgot to take a step back, breath a bit, enjoy a tasty aperol spritz and take a serious look at the muthafucka ( lichess). What is worth to you and what the end goal is? Do you really want lichess to look the same in 5 years? Good design, takes time, but what better time to start than now?
That's all you have to do!
Worry less, eat more and polish the car and take that shit for a ride, grab a chick, park it badly, shove it in peoples faces, let them do their selfies with it and after all is said and done, sell it, because otherwise it will just be another supertweaked car in an obsesive old man's garage. So learn to have fun!

I'm thinking it's about time for ornicar to take on a new project -------- Dungeons and Dragons VTT. Look at foundry vtt, look at owlbearrodeo. Just look at the recent succes of Baldur's Gate 3. That shit will echo for at least 10 years, minimum.
Look at the market, look at the stats, look at the numbers and projections, hear the crowds. It's time for liDnD.org, man. Think about it.
And I know in france DnD wasnt that big or nonexistent, but think it through. You have all the systems in place to build it.
Please add back the hand grab cursor for regular games. It really enhanced the play experience, except for bullet, where imo a pointy arrow ( default OS cursor) should suffice.
