Lag comp "abusers". Many strong players have complained about the way lichess handles lag compensation. Alas, they will do nothing about it.
this has nothing whatsoever to do with lag compensation abuse. it's more likely to be some issue in your connection to lichess, i had irregular hiccups in my old place which didn't happen when i played through a VPN.. just a direction to look into, if nothing else.

I've recently been playing rapid for the past 24 hours and I've come across lag multiple times, I can have 7 seconds on the clock and it's ticking fine the whole game but only once I hit the 7 seconds I've had premoved already and it just went from 7 seconds to 0. It's not the first time it has happened and I've had it occur multiple times causing me to tilt.
My time on the clock doesn't correlate to moves registered on lichess. For example in the game I've had 7 seconds on the clock on the last move and it hit 0 immediately when I check the analysis I played like 10 moves and lochess says I've has less than 5 seconds, it doesn't make sense how I can play 10 whole moves and my clock still wasn't correct. I've even played the game on the website
Steps to reproduce the bug
There are no steps to help reduce it
What did you expect to happen?
Since I've mentioned I had 7 seconds on the clock I expected to win as premoving doesn't remove any time. I've already premoved my last move and I was premoving the whole time, 7 seconds is enough to even win without premoving
What happened instead?
When my time on my clock showed 7 seconds on the last move it hit 0 instantly for no reason at all. And as I've said before the clock displayed on my screen was not correlating to the time registered on the lichess server

Additional information
It's not the first time this has happened as I occasionally lose games when I have so much time and it hits 0. This probably means my opponent saw I had 1 second as I've checked with analysis, and that was 3 moves before the final move but I've had 7 whole seconds and when I promoted to a queen(this is an estimate) I've had around 15 to 20 seconds after I promoted my queen but my opponetsaw maybe 5 seconds
