Play Computer (Stockfish) Offline #745

Dear Lichess developers,

I am a big fan of Lichess, and the Lichess app. It is an allround app and a valuable addition to the lichess.org portal!

However, I quite often travel, either by boat or plane. Internet connectivity on ferries and planes is prohibitively expensive and hence, I love the feature of the old app that I can play Stockfish offline at several levels and use my smart phone as an (interesting) opponent chess computer.

In the new app, whenever I go offline, there does not seem to be a way to start a new (local) computer match. The only thing that comes close is to start the local analysis engine and pick a subobtimal move once in a while to reduce the level of the "opponent" moves. This is, however, not the same experience as playing "Stockfish level 4", for example.

Am I overlooking the button to start a real local computer match, or has that not (yet) been implemented?

It is planned indeed. Not ETA of course, but I'll try to update issues and milestones to give more visibility in the next weeks.

Meanwhile, here's a shortcut I'm using: you can play stockfish from the browser, then on mobile, go into this game, and click "Rematch".
