After a wrong move is made in a puzzle, show the refutation of that move by showing the top engine move (of the opponent) before the move is taken back. This should be particularly useful for lower rated players as it gives instant feedback as for why the move was bad.
Current: The player makes an incorrect move. Lichess simply tells them that they were wrong and asks them to try again. The player can no longer earn ELO points for the puzzle. After the puzzle is completely solved - or the player gives up - they can analyze it themselves.
Suggestion: The player makes an incorrect move. Lichess mates them with an overlooked backrank mate. The player now knows why they cannot play their (perhaps) otherwise perfect idea. This helps them with further calculations and increases the learning effect of the puzzle by immediately revealing their current mistake. The player still gets no Elo, so it is not "unfair" that they now have more information.
In case of the engine move being obscure and not helping, the player still has the possibility to explore further after the game or just simply downvote the puzzle.
