"show log" from merge dialog fetches all revisions if no revision range is specified

It looks like after the issue #611 fix the default behavior of the "Show Log" 
button on the merge dialog is to fetch all revisions from 0 when the "specific 
range" textbox is blank.

There is a simple workaround (e.g. specify "HEAD" there) but perhaps it could 
be changed to default to 100 revisions instead?
