Matplot & dynamic plot Ensembl Style #304

Closed Ofosseprez closed 3 months ago

Hi! Working with Ensembl style datasets, I cannot use the Matplot and dynamic plot options, as they report "no data"; exactly same as when trying to load a Ensembl dataset without clicking "Ensemble style". If you could add that option, it would be great, as these plots are great ways to easily compare data sets.

Cheers & have a nice day, Best, Olivier

Hi @Ofosseprez yes...those tracks haven't added that feature yet...will work on it. are you using bigwig/bedgraph files for matplot/dynamic plot? Thanks for using the browser!

Great, thank you. Yes, I'm using bigwig files!

Hi @Ofosseprez this should be fixed now. So I didn't add that option to matplot directly but if you select multiple bigwig with ensembl style enabled, it should work, this allows combination of files using or not using ensembl style. same thing for datahub, you can just define the ensembl option for each member track. Hope this helps.

Hi @lidaof, amazing, thank you for such a fast work ! Just a quick note, for some reason in my hands it works fine on a Google Chrome navigator, but on Mozilla Firefox it still reads "no data" (exactly the same tracks each time). Thanks again & have a nice day !

Interesting...when you try on Firefox, is it showing v54.0.0 in top left? thank you @Ofosseprez ! i was suepecting your firefox might cached old version...

Well spotted, somehow my Firefox was still on v53.8 (still had the tab open), but now with a refresh it went to v54.0 and it's working fine now! Thanks again, keep up the great work !
