Review, test and improve unstable sections #34

There are some (23 Aug 16 it's exactly 8) sections in the documentation which are marked with Unstable. The corresponding code needs review, further tests and likely improvement. Some examples:

Correlation
Interpolation
FFT of real vectors or symmetric IFFTs
