Inquiring about MYCanCor #1

Hi Dr. Liesenfeld, I am a linguistics researcher at Michigan. I came across your corpus two years ago and have been following it since then. I am interested in Cantonese research and curious about the status of MYCanCor. Is there still a plan to release the corpus? Thanks, Luke

Hi Luke, unfortunately I encountered some licensing issues when moving the data to a different university, so the data is still not publicly available. But it can be shared individually within the research community for scientific purposes only. The dataset looks very similar to HKCanCor but bigger and for Malaysian Cantonese: http://compling.hss.ntu.edu.sg/hkcancor/

Thanks for your prompt reply! I am certainly interested in it. If that requires a formal request and signing some non-disclosure contract, I can use my academic email to contact you. Anyway, it is great work and certainly deserves wider recognition!
