Add-on Installation Failed #123

When I try adding aria.xpi in Tools > Plugins in Zotero, I'm getting an error titled "Add-on Installation Failed" with a description "The add-on "Aria" could not be installed. It may be incompatible with this version of Zotero.".

I tried with Zotero 7.0.1, 7.0.2, and 7.0.2 on macOS Sonoma (14.6.1). I downloaded Aria 0.7.1 from the release page (https://github.com/lifan0127/ai-research-assistant/releases/tag/0.7.1) as .xpi. Then, I downloaded the source code, built it on my machine (using an M2 processor), and tried installing the built .xpi file, with the same result.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a version incompatibility or similar?
