We (esp Liam) did a bunch of ideation and writing around this. Let's get it posted as a "big idea" or similar.

@lkavanagh30 hey liam, wondering if any further work got done on Maps and Rafts - i remember that producing a summary or white paper was one of the goals in 2021. This is something simple to back blog and then connect to Life Itself Research overview.

Good starter item for a research volunteer or similar.

NB: should really move this to community repo in public but can't transfer issues from private to public so would have to copy and paste.
