I would like to propose to create a proper documentation site for this great library. The current https://lightbend.github.io/config/ page does not really increase this library's credibility.
I've made an experiment of splitting the readme.md into a number of pages for use with Paradox and I believe the result improves the accessibility of the documentation.
This could be combined with sbt-site and sbt-ghpages to get a smooth documentation update process.
