I think I set up things correctly in the travis settings, but we'd have to tag a version to actually test. That's no big risk: we can just drop the repository on sonatype if it's wrong.

(it would be good to also update RELEASING.md once this works, but for some reason it seems I'm not allowed to push to this branch - we can do that later)
