new method incorrectly generated since Scala 2.12.3 #314

This method doesn't seem to show up in javap, so it looks like a bug in genjavadoc that this now shows up?

as per https://github.com/lightbend/genjavadoc/pull/313#issuecomment-1227871158, this isn't a new issue in 2.12.17, but goes way back
