launcher zap set up

Hi @codenamecoder !

The Node Launcher is searching for LND running to unlock the buttons, it is not trying to recognize Zap Desktop (I have a note to open it because there used to be a bug in Zap Desktop that required it being open).

Looking at the UI it looks like Bitcoin and LND have not been launched, this is something I will automate but right now you do have to push the buttons, guide here: https://medium.com/lightning-power-users/windows-macos-lightning-network-284bd5034340

Let me know if I can elaborate / clarify!

Cheers

Still not seeing what I see on the guide, tried to enter it manually after launching Bitcoin and LND, still not having any luck. I found the path and tried the complete path including drive letter but I get these error messages

I launched Bitcoin and LND, then opened Zap manually and I'm trying to manually enter the connection details because I'm still not getting the dialog box I see on the tutorial - where is the macaroon file?

Pierre,

I'm so close! I've got the Zap desktop open with the wallet open, I could open channels and send and receive - but how do I generate a QR code so my iOS app can connect to my node? That seems like it should be so easy. Node Launcher on your guide shows the QR code button, but mine still looks the same without that button

Awesome! Unfortunately we had to temporarily remove the button as it wasn't working for a lot of people

I deleted the tlscert and certkey files, and now it's just stuck here - I start Zap and it tells me those files are missing

Restart LND to regenerate those files
