Crafting a Temperature Regulator requires Martian Steel Ingots AND Polished Lunar Sapphires. To obtain them, you need to go to Mars AND to the Moon, which requires fuel, which requires an Ice Box and a Temperature Regulator.

No you can just use hydrocarbon as the fuel
