I had a VERY similar issue where one of our French clients' custom page content was instead being duplicated on custom page save. All edits were discarded, and whatever content was there before was compounded onto the existing content. I don't know why this worked, but I solved the issue by installing a fresh web store on another server, deleting the entire /protected/modules/admin folder from the client's site, and copying over the fresh admin folder.
After that, I manually deleted all of the custom pages from the database. Then everything started working again.
Thanks for your input on the "fix", but I think this is still a bug nonetheless.

We've had no reports of this and we have lots of customers using Custom Pages and some using multi-language features. I would suggest contacting technical support at http://my.lightspeedretail.com and having them troubleshoot this, and they can file a bug report if necessary. But we should eliminate specific site issues first because this does not sound typical.

This happened in the last 2 updates I've made. My custom content just vanishes.
