Chromecast and Cast icon missing #333

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Turn on my first gen nexus 7
2.Try to use my chromecast with this nexus 7 of mine
3.The cast icon is missing after a few minutes, then it appears and works fine

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

It only happens on my nexus 7 not in my phone (galaxy s3) or in the chrome 
extension for google chrome

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Android 4.4.3 in my nexus 7 and the chromecast is updated
