how to use hic data #1

I think maybe I can use hic to anchor scaffolds to instead step1 in your software, is that right? And how to do it?

Yes, you are right. You can use hic to anchor scaffolds. Then the anchored result can be used as a reference to run step1. I highly recommended to remove some shorter scaffolds to improve the accuracy of the anchor.
