AAC codec sub-par quality #5

I dunno if this is Xvid4PSP just getting confused with the copy of ffmpeg I
have in my system folders or it's actually the codecs built in so I
apologize if it is a newbie mistake.

But I have just checked out this program and it is having the same issue as
running ffmpeg manually. Encoding the video to h264 is fine and very high
quality but the audio is horrible. In fact it sounds exactly like ffmpeg's
attempt using their 'in-house' aac codec (not to be confused with faac).
Even encoding at 160kbps stereo it sounds like trying 64kbps.

This is not Xvid4PSP's issue but ffmpeg/libavocdec's, but was kinda hoping
it would use some outside known good codec like Nero's.

If you talking about XviD4PSP 5 - it didn`t use ffmpeg (build in) aac encoders,
it
use neroAacEnc.exe for AAC encoding. Or you talking about XviD4PSP 6?

Yeah, I'm using ver6 right now. That may be why. I'll have to look at 5 then.
Thanks. :)

Or go to http://winnydows.com/ and download current daily version of XviD4PSP
6.
Winnydows says that AAC encoding working fine now, he fixed it.
