XviD4PSP_5.10.289.0_(2012-07-06)_RC31 Installer bug #53

Hello,
I tried the latest version and I found an annoying bug during the installation.
Latest version doesn't detect older installations and so just overwrites the
existing one.
It doesn't even try to uninstall it.
By doing so, it leaves lots of files, filter from the old installation.

OK, I did a second attempt, this time it found it but then I got an uninstall
failure and then just continued and overwrite the existing installation.

OK, it fully worked now after I first re-installed a version of november 2011,
which was able to detect and remove the version from may 2012. And then
re-installed RC31 which this time could remove the old installation.

Hi. Works fine for me, just tried to instal r271 and then r289. While
installing the later one the uninstaller started and r271 was deleted.
Installing r271 on r289 also works fine for me. Are you sure that in your r271
folder the files uninsXXX.exe and uninsXXX.dat was there? Or, probably, some
registry keys were missing\corrupted. But bug in Inno Setup is also possible..
Let's see what other people will say.

That bug may also be because I updated r271 to r279 then r283.

Didn't get this bug, i use win7 ultimate (x64).

On install: try to delete all other versions from your program files same as
temp folder etc... and registry that focus on xvid4psp and try again to clean
install. Make sure you run as Administrator and/or try to set another
compatibility onf the installer.

Good luck !
