The extension is something requesting hundreds of requests at once, flooding our servers and causing undue overhead.

Please resolve this immediately as users have started to get banned because of this. The rate limits are listed in the API docs.

Thanks much. How is this currently rolled out to users? Is it feasible that a majority of users won't update, or is there some automation to it?

Some users say that when they launch chrome/firefox, tampermonkey would open a tab saying that it's been updated.
