Entering password doesn't work after navigating back to "Enter login?" question #567

Step by step guide to reproduce the problem

  1. Open notepad.exe, make it active window
  2. Unlock Mooltipass mini (enter pin)
  3. Menu -> Login
  4. Choose any login and wheel-enter into it. Mooltipass shows "Enter Login?" question.
  5. Click the wheel -> Mooltipass will type login to notepad window.
  6. Mootipass shows "Enter Password?" question.
  7. Long-click the wheel (holding it) -> Mooltipass navigates back to "Enter Login?" question.
  8. Enter login once again (short click the wheel)
  9. Mooltipass enters login once again. Then shows "Enter Password?" question
  10. Click the wheel to approve Expected: password is typed into the notepad Actual: Password is not typed into the notepad or only first symbol is typed but the rest of password is skipped.

Mooltipass Extension

No extension is ever installed.

Mooltipass Application

I'm not using any browser extension. I use Mooltipass mini as a keyboard, manually selecting login and clicking the wheel to type login and password. So this bug is reproducible in any browser as it's not plugin/browser related.

Mooltipass Device

Reproduced on 2 Mooltipass Mini devices (Firmware Version: v1.2_mini)

Impact

As I use this device without any plugins, sometimes I focus to the wrong textbox on the website and need to re-enter login once again. I can re-enter login but password doesn't work after that so then I have to find login once again on the device, enter into it, skip "Enter Login?" question and type password.

holy molly, that's quite an interesting bug.... nice find! we'll investigate and issue a fw upgrade within weeks
